Finding the Pelican Cove Inn

The Pelican Cove Inn is located in Carlsbad, California and is 2 blocks from the beach and 3 blocks south of the village (downtown Carlsbad). We are the only B&B located in Carlsbad and are within walking distance of local restaurants and shops.


Carlsbad is situated approximately 35 minutes (30 miles) north of San Diego (Sea World, San Diego Zoo) and a little more than an hour (60 miles) south of Anaheim (Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm). There are several other points of interest (not to mention beaches) nearby such as the San Diego Wild Animal Park, Del Mar Race Track, Quail Botanical Gardens, Palomar Observatory, Mission San Luis Rey and many others.

From Los Angeles, Orange County and points north: Take I-5 South and Exit at Carlsbad Village Drive. Head west toward the ocean and turn left at Carlsbad Blvd. Then turn left on Walnut Avenue; we're 2-1/2 blocks down on the left!

From San Diego and points south: Take I-5 North and Exit at Carlsbad Village Drive. Head west toward the ocean and turn left at Carlsbad Blvd. Then turn left on Walnut Avenue; we're 2-1/2 blocks down on the left!
