This is our 1st wedding anniversary. Being here gave us a scarce
chance to relax and sleep
in each others arms. The room is elegant and beautiful. I especially
liked the carpet, lamps, high
ceiling and fan -- and the feather bed. We have one at home but are now
going to get a down comforter
too so we always remember how we felt here.

This was our honeymoon suite, our first night together as man and
wife. We highly recommend the tub.
It was such a very romantic night following a beautiful day. Our of all
of the hotels that we will be
staying in over this next week, we will always remember the Coronado

This is our first visit to Pelican Cove. We are celebrating our 18th
anniversary. We chose
Carlsbad Village because friends told us it was a great place to
de-compress (and it is). We will be back,
but in the future we will come to Carlsbad because of Pelican Cove. The
room is beautiful and the feather bed
soothing. We couldn't have asked for better hospitality. Thank you,

We "stumbled" upon this delightful inn in the Fodor's Best B&B
in California. We're so glad there was a
"space" for us at the last minute. The inn is delightful, the be -oh so
comfortable and the Jacuzzi a great
way to relax (as if we needed any more relaxing!) Hopefully, we'll
return. We will certainly recommend the
Inn to anyone who loves B&B's the way we do. Thanks for a lovely

Even though we only live just a few blocks away, Pelican Cove is the

Carlsbad Room
The Pelican Cove B&B was an excellent choice! We picked up
some decorating tips - I never would have dared to
combine yellow & mauve, but I love it! The hostess was perfect -
warm, enthusiastic, knowledgeable of local
features & interests, a splendid chef - all in all a women who
makes Martha Stewart look like an underachiever. And
she is also not only a full-time mom to two children, but a wonderful
surrogate mother to her constantly expanding
extended family - she certainly made us feel like family!

What a wonderful experience -- our first bed & breakfast. This
room is so light and airy and cheerful. We love the sunlight
and charming atmosphere. Nancy is a very gracious, accommodating
hostess, and a fabulous cook!
We enjoyed seeing the beautiful, breathtaking flower fields. We had fun
cruising the beaches, looking in Longboard Grotto
surf shop, and browsing in antique shops in Leucadia. We would
recommend "Fish House Veracruz" to anyone -- it will make
you a fish lover, even if you're not now!
We hope to come back and stay again sometime, but even if we don't, the
memory of Pelican Cove will last a lifetime!

Lazy mornings wrapped up in the featherbed, Saturday afternoon on
the beach bodysurfing, and playing in the sand, taps at Dini's,
and then back to the featherbed once again, loved every minute of it!
I'm stopping in Barstow on the way back to Vegas to buy me a
featherbed, some down pillows, and a down comforter.

Capistrano Room

What a lovely alternitave to staying in a motel! So nice and quiet
and clean, with a friendly home atmosphere. The service

Steve and I have had the most wonderful 4 day get away ever! We so needed

We could not have picked a more romantic & beautiful place to
spend our honeymoon at than the Pelican Cove Inn. The
calming blue hues, "melt away" soft bed, & relaxing tub were just
what we needed. During our stay we experienced many
adventures including watching the harbor seals in La Jolla, dinner on
Coronado Island, & visitng the San Diego Zoo.
However, the best part of all was being able to wake up and come
home to such a great room/inn/&host.
